Total Sono provides OB/GYN ultrasound services, led by a network of board certified MFM consultants and backed by a team of certified ultrasound technologists, patient care liaisons and other industry experts. 

Who You Are:

Total Sono is seeking a Perinatal Sonographer with at least 3 years of OB/GYN sonography experience. 

What You'll Do:

  • Execute all varieties of obstetrical and gynecologic diagnostic ultrasound exams.
  • Explain testing procedures to patients.
  • Obtain and document appropriate medical history and pertinent information. 
  • Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation
  • Utilize the PACS system to make images available to the interpreting physician and create preliminary written reports.
  • Ensure that emergent exam results are verbally relayed promptly to the appropriate physician. 
  • Evaluate sonograms in order to acquire appropriate diagnostic information. 
  • Communicate efficiently with on-site physicians/staff in a professional manner. 
  • Have a thorough knowledge of OB/GYN conditions, including appropriate timeframes needed to schedule follow up scans and related tests.
  • Assist in the care and maintenance of office facilities, equipment, and supplies.

What You Bring:

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) registry
  • Direct experience with OB/GYN highly desireable 
  • Certified with the Nuchal Translucency Quality Review (NTQR) preferred
  • Must be able to complete Level 2 Anatomy Surveys and Nuchal Translucency Exams
