Who You Are:

As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. You will play a key role in accounting, treasury, reporting, audit management, budget and forecast support, as well as leading special projects.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safeguard company assets.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variances to provide insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making.
  • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and financing activities to optimize liquidity and support company growth initiatives.
  • Coordinate and lead the annual financial audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring timely completion of audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets and provide guidance on financial matters.
  • Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards, regulations, and best practices, and ensure timely implementation and compliance within the organization.
  • Support special projects and initiatives as required by senior management.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
  • CPA or CMA designation.
  • Public accounting experience preferred.
  • Proven experience with 3 to 5 years in a Controller or similar financial management role.
  • Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of GAAP.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities effectively.
