Metal Finisher (Polisher)

We are seeking a full-time metal finisher with the ability to polish various types of metal products in a timely and accurate manner.

• Grind, sand, clean, and finish parts using hand tools or power equipment for a high-polish mirror finish
• Grind down welds using a handheld grinder
• Apply satin finish using stroke sander
• Use time saver finishing machine
• Observe and inspect parts to ensure specifications and quality are met
• Apply appropriate compounds to achieve the desired finish
• Maintain equipment
• Follow safety rules
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 1-5 years of experience running multiple machines, troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance
• High School Diploma or GED
• Time Management skills
• Problem sensitivity and creative thinking
• Handling and moving heavy items (up to 25 lbs)
• Neat and organized
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere
• Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner to achieve the intended objective
• Ability to adapt to change

Working Conditions:

• Manual dexterity to handle parts/items
• May have to carry heavy items (up to 25 lbs)
• Near vision: the ability to see things at a close range

Introductory Period: 90 Days
