Who You Are:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Injury (PI) Litigation Paralegal to join our team.  This role is ideal for a detailed-oriented professional who excels in managing personal injury cases and provides comprehensive legal support to the Attorneys. * Candidate must be able to work across different areas of legal support, including traditional paralegal responsibilities and specialized litigation tasks, covering all aspects of Personal Injury law from intake through discovery.

 

* Applicants must have 5-10 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal in the Plaintiffs Personal Injury field.

What You'll Do:

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and Organize pre-litigation case files, documents, and evidence.
  • Conduct initial client interviews and gather relevant case information.
  • Conduct Legal research on case-specific issues, statutes, and regulations.
  • Assist in drafting legal documents, including demand letters, pleadings, and discovery demands.
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, experts, and other parties involved in all aspects of litigation matters.
  • Assist in case assessment, evaluations, and development of case strategies.

Provide administrative support, including calendar management and billing assistance.

What You Bring:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university (preferred).
  • Paralegal Certification from an accredited institution.
  •  5-10 years of legal experience as a paralegal with a focus on personal injury matters.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and procedures in all stages of personal injury matters.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and case management.
  • Smart Advocate a Plus
  • Notary a Plus

Experience:

  • PI Intake: 1-2 years (Required)
  • PI Plaintiff’s Law Firm: 2.5-3 years (Required)
  • Pre-Litigation Paralegal: 3-5 years (Required)
  • Medical Records: 1 year (Required)
  • Paralegal: 5-10 years (Required)

Salary Range: $65k-72k depending on experience.
