Salus Scientific was established by healthcare providers with the aim of serving their peers. The initial GLiFT system was conceived and utilized by a founding physician to alleviate pain from an accident, and he continued to use it to enhance longevity in his practice. The concept originated in 2017.

 

Our team possesses over 100 years of combined experience in healthcare services, led by three founders and supported by 10 full-time employees and consultants with extensive expertise in engineering, quality, operations, finance, and medical technology commercialization.

Who You Are

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire production process, from initial concept to final product delivery, ensuring efficient manufacturing operations. This role combines strong leadership, engineering knowledge, and SolidWorks design capabilities to optimize production, improve product designs, and ensure high-quality output. The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering, hands-on experience in SolidWorks, and a proven ability to manage teams in a fast-paced production environment. 

What You'll Do

  • Production Management: Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met. 
  • SolidWorks Design: Utilize SolidWorks to design, modify, and optimize production tooling, fixtures, and product designs for manufacturability. 
  • Engineering Support: Provide engineering expertise to troubleshoot production issues, improve processes, and ensure design integrity and product performance. 
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor production teams, including technicians and engineers, to meet production targets and maintain a safe and productive work environment. 
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, workflows, and product designs to increase efficiency and reduce waste. 
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, Sales, and quality control teams to ensure design feasibility, material availability, and adherence to quality standards. 
  • Production Scheduling: Plan and monitor production schedules, adjusting for any delays or changes in priorities to ensure on-time delivery of products. 
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the procurement and management of materials and components, ensuring proper inventory levels and minimal disruptions to production. 
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet company standards and regulatory requirements by coordinating quality control processes and addressing any non-conformance issues. 
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of production designs, modifications, and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and certifications. 

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (preferred) 
  • Proven experience as a Production Manager or Manufacturing Engineer in a production environment. 
  • Strong proficiency in SolidWorks design software, with the ability to create and modify detailed technical drawings. 
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean production principles, and quality control standards. 
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Experience with ERP systems and production planning tools. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Knowledge of industry certifications and regulatory requirements (ISO, CE Mark, etc.) is a plus.
