Westchester Residential Opportunities, Inc. is a reputable and mission-driven organization dedicated to providing housing counseling services to individuals and families in need in the lower Hudson Valley region. We are committed to assisting our clients in achieving their housing goals, whether it's home ownership, rental assistance, or foreclosure prevention. As we continue to expand our services, we are seeking a dedicated Housing Counseling Intake Coordinator to join our team and play a pivotal role in helping our clients access the support they need.
The Affordable Housing Coordinator will coordinate and conduct our affirmative marketing plans for affordable housing units being developed in the region. The Affordable Housing Coordinator will report directly to the Deputy Executive Director and indirectly to the Executive Director.
• Preparing and implementing marketing plans for affordable housing units
• Interacting with state, county and local regulators to approve marketing plans
• Creating and managing the design, preparation, presentation and distribution of outreach materials and applications, including by email, website and social media as well as traditional media placement/publication
• Conducting affordable housing workshops and presentations
• Collecting applications and conducting lotteries for affordable housing
• Income-qualifying applicants for affordable housing and analyzing affordability for home purchasers
• Coordinating housing transactions with buyers, sellers, banks, appraisers, attorneys, etc.
• Managing and tracking information using basic office technology, including Microsoft Office, GoogleSuite applications, and proprietary databases
• Monitoring, tracking and evaluating the effectiveness of various marketing, communications and outreach activities
• Tracking and compiling statistical and demographic information
• Assisting in recordkeeping and reporting
• Other duties as assigned
• Bachelor’s degree; focus on real estate, banking, affordable housing, marketing, urban planning or other related field preferred
• Strong management and organizational skills, attention to detail
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines
• Excellent team communicator/team player

• Basic graphic design skills, including working with Canva, Constant Contact, PhotoShop, Adobe Creative or other graphic design and image manipulation applications
• Spanish language skills strongly preferred
Fringe Benefits:
Salary: $52,000-$55,000 annually.
