Bindery Operator

Perfect Communications, a leading provider of direct mail services and commercial print is seeking an experienced full time bindery operator. This is a second or third shift position. The ideal applicant will have had experience operating a folder, cutter or stitcher and not be averse to learning or operating a variety of bindery equipment that is typically found in a print production operation. The person must be able to work independently and produce work that is up to company standards.

• Responsible for setup, operation and troubleshooting on multiple pieces of bindery equipment. This can include folders, cutters, binding machines, punchers, and inserters.
• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on finishing equipment.
• Responsible for quality output
• Read and interpret work orders for print production.
• Responsible for keeping work area clean and organized.
• Assist in all finishing operations as production workload may require.

• Ability to stand for length of shift.
• Ability to bend and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
• Ability to work overtime based on work volume.
• Willingness to work independently and make decisions regarding quality and production outputs requirements.
• Prior print manufacturing experience.
