We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer with expertise in Requirements Management and Integration & Test (I&T) to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the development and execution of system requirements and the integration and testing of complex systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality systems.

 

Travel required for this job is 5%.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, manage, and maintain system requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring clarity and completeness.
  • Design and execute integration and test plans, including system verification and validation.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with system requirements and testing processes.
  • Support system architecture development and review processes.
  • Conduct technical reviews and provide feedback on requirements, design, and test documentation.
  • Prepare and present test reports and status updates to stakeholders.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving system issues during integration and testing phases.

What You Bring

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on requirements management and integration & testing.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and methodologies (e.g., IEEE 1233, INCOSE).
  • Proficient in requirement management tools (e.g., DOORS).
  • Experience with integration and test tools and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycles and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., INCOSE CSEP, ISTQB) are a plus.
  • Eligibility Requirement: Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Location Requirement: Must reside in the greater Orlando, FL area.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Defense industry
  • Knowledge of database administration
  • Experience with automation testing and continuous integration practices
