TAG is seeking a highly motivated and resourceful Marketing & Communications Manager to work at the epicenter of Georgia’s technology community. This individual will be responsible for managing delivery of TAG’s marketing strategy, overseeing our contracted Marketing agency, and producing high-quality copy and creative assets to support organizational goals. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at project management, and is eager to grow into a leadership role.
The Technology Association of Georgia’s Marketing & Communications Manager must have experience in the following areas:
Marketing Strategy & Oversight
• Develop and execute marketing strategies that align with organizational goals.
• Serve as the primary liaison with TAG’s Marketing Agency and third parties, ensuring deadlines, deliverables, and quality standards are met.
Communications Support
• Work with leadership to refine messaging and ensure clarity in all external communications.
• Write and design TAG’s weekly email newsletter, TAG Top Picks.
• Create templates and tools for digital and print communication.
Creative Asset Development
• Design professional marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), MS Office including PowerPoint, Canva, etc.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
Project Management
• Coordinate and manage multiple marketing campaigns simultaneously.
• Maintain detailed project timelines, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned.
Growth & Leadership
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
• Lay the foundation for future leadership responsibilities within the marketing team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate & work effectively, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and share results clearly.
• Experience in KPI and Analytics tracking for social platforms, company coms, and Google
• Strong time management, project management, and organizational skills
• Experience with social media content writing and strategy, particularly on LinkedIn
• Familiarity with social media and digital marketing platforms, such as Sprout Social, Google Analytics, or Hootsuite experience.
• Experience with digital content strategy, including newsletter templates for email blasts and digital awareness campaigns
• Experience with WordPress or other CMS platform required
• Knowledge of graphic design tools including Canva, Adobe InDesign, or other design tools.
• Strong MS Office skills, including excellent PowerPoint skills
• Ability to contribute to team projects with a “whatever it takes” attitude and approach.
• Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter, and support a functionally organized, technically oriented environment
• Able to juggle multiple tasks and have strong project management skills
