Samson

Samson Technologies began in 1980 designing wireless microphone systems. Today, we are an industry leader in both consumer and professional audio with three notable brands: Samson Audio, Samson Wireless and Hartke. Over 300 of our products are sold and distributed in over 140 countries around the world. In 1980, Samson introduced our first wireless microphone system.

Over the years, Samson has become a leader in the wireless field. In the early '90s, we began to expand the reach of our audio products through the development of power amplifiers, mixers, wired microphones and signal processors. In 2005, we introduced the first professional USB microphones to be used by musicians, broadcasters and podcast enthusiasts. Our USB microphones are now the industry standard.

Hartke revolutionized the world of bass amplification in 1985 with the creation of a unique aluminum cone driver that produced a bass tone with far broader dynamics than had ever been heard before. We have gone on to create a full line of bass amplifiers, cabinets and combos that are used by some of the world's greatest musicians.

Over three decades, Samson has grown from a small two-person operation to a worldwide enterprise, dedicated to innovating new products that will enhance the lives of music and broadcast professionals everywhere.

 

Who You Are

The Marketing and Brand Manager for Samson Distribution is responsible for overseeing three flagship brands—Samson, Hartke, and Michael Kelly—representing $50 million in annual revenue. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this role leads the internal marketing team and collaborates closely with the sales to effectively support B2B domestic and international sales channels. Core responsibilities include sales support, cross-functional campaign management, content production, brand consistency, and customer service operations. This position plays a key role in maintaining brand standards, optimizing user experiences, and driving product marketing initiatives across multiple channels. 

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Support, Campaign Management, & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Executive teams to coordinate campaign strategies supporting product launches, trade shows, seasonal promotions, and broader market development goals. 
  • Oversee B2B communications with distribution partners, creating dealer assets, sales presentations, and promotional materials to enhance product positioning and partner engagement. 
  • Lead direct-to-consumer (D2C) campaigns across web, email, social media, and influencer channels to boost customer engagement and sales growth. 
  • Manage Amazon Vendor Central, ensuring product listings are accurate and advertising campaigns are optimized for performance. 

Content Management

  • Oversee the creation of photography, video, and other promotional content to enhance brand identity and engage target audiences 
  • Oversee website content, coordinating with the internal marketing team to ensure accurate, engaging information for new and legacy products, blog content, and customer resources. 
  • Manage relationships with external partners, ensuring project alignment with company goals, timelines, and budget 

Brand Management & Customer Service Oversight

  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels, reflecting Samson's commitment to quality and innovation. 
  • Manage the Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform, ensuring proper asset usage and accessibility. 
  • Oversee the customer service team to ensure timely and effective responses to support tickets and queries. 
  • Develop and maintain a customer knowledge base and FAQ resources to improve accessibility and support efficiency. 
  • Report on customer feedback, identifying opportunities for product and service improvements in collaboration with the Product Development and Sales teams. 

Team Management & Leadership

  • Mentor and develop junior marketing team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. 
  • Assign tasks based on team strengths and project requirements, ensuring efficient workflows and timely project completion. 
  • Review and approve team outputs, ensuring quality, alignment with brand standards, and campaign effectiveness before delivery or publication. 

What You Bring

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in digital marketing, content management, and cross-functional campaign strategy. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective internal and external engagement. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment. 
  • Familiarity with Amazon Vendor Central, Digital Asset Management platforms, and customer service operations is highly desirable.

Compensation Range:

  • $70,000 to $90,000 per year
