Who You Are

We are seeking a detail-oriented Controller (Logistics) to oversee financial and operational controls within our logistics department. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in finance, cost control, and process optimization. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of logistics operations, and the ability to manage budgets and financial reporting effectively.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor and analyze logistics costs, budgets, and financial performance.
  • Ensure accuracy in invoicing, freight charges, and vendor payments.
  • Track and control transportation, warehousing, and distribution expenses.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives in logistics operations.
  • Prepare financial reports and forecasts for logistics operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to logistics finance and operations.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in financial control, cost accounting, or supply chain finance.
  • Strong proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, logistics software, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and supply chain management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in freight cost optimization and vendor negotiations.
  • Understanding of customs, tariffs, and international trade regulations.
  • Certification in CMA, CPA, or logistics-related finance is a plus not required
