A leading mental health practice serving adults and teens with offices in Manasquan and Brick, New Jersey. We offer a wide range of therapeutic services, including individual counseling, grief counseling, couples therapy, and specialized treatment for depression and anxiety. Our experienced team of over a dozen highly qualified therapists is committed to helping clients navigate life's challenges and achieve emotional well-being. In addition to traditional therapy, we provide medication management for teens and adults, as well as group therapy options such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) for teens and grief recovery groups for adults. We offer both in-person and telehealth appointments to ensure flexible, accessible care tailored to your needs.

Who You Are

The Outpatient Therapist provides therapeutic services to clients in an outpatient setting.  The Outpatient Therapist uses their education and knowledge of therapeutic techniques to effectively support clients in managing their mental health conditions.

What You'll Do

  • Implements and maintains the Monmouth Integrative Counseling Services program philosophy, principles, and procedures in all facets of performance.
  • Must adhere to the professional code of conduct and ethics by the governing licensing board(s).
  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, therapy, treatment planning and discharge planning in a professional and client-centered manner.
  • Provide evidence-based treatments based on the biopsychosocial assessment and treatment plans.
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation in accordance with auditing standards.
  • Effectively manage a caseload and calendar while providing quality, client-centered care.
  • Assure continuos reimbursable sessions for assigned clients.
  • Fully participate in staff development and training offered to enhance growth in accordance with professional standards.
  • Proactively participate in planned supervision, case consultations and peer supervision with case presentation, conceptualization and treatment planning as required.

What You Bring

  • Must possess a non-provisional license (LCSW or LPC) in the state of New Jersey
  • Must have 1-2 years of related experience providing treatment to one or several populations including children/adolescents, families and adults
  • Must work 2 evenings per week (to 7pm) or 1 evening and a Saturday
  • Part-time positions are a minimum of 15 hours per week with one evening or a Saturday.
  • Hybrid schedule is two, in person days and three, virtual days (more in person days are available upon request)
  • Demonstrate the organization's mission statement and cultural competency.
  • Demonstrate time management, effective communication and strong organizational skills.
  • Experience and/or comfortable with utilizing an EHR for documentation and record keeping.
  • Demonstrate adherence to confidentiality policies and procedures along with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling and the ability to prioritize both clinical and administrative tasks.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
  • Must maintain CEU’s in accordance with the professional license requirements
