What You'll Do

  • Planning, organizing, directing, and running optimum day-to-day operations
  • Managing production asset capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining quality standards
  • Ensuring production output, product quality, and on-time shipping
  • Creating and managing budgets
  • Oversee operations to ensure safety
  • Determine appropriate KPIs, analyze data and create management reports
  • Keeping up to date with latest production management best practices
  • Implementing strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives
  • Monitoring operations, initiating and driving corrective actions when needed
  • Providing a clear sense of direction and focus to team members
  • Building a trusting relationship with workers
  • Recruiting, managing, and developing plant staff
  • Responsible for problem solving and resolution of issues as directed or required. Supports team during crisis management
  • Introduce, drive and maintain lean concepts (5S, Kaizen, Kanban, TPM etc.) throughout the organization
  • Implement process improvements, including automation, to improve overall efficiencies
  • Develop a World Class Center of Excellence operation with an aggressive goal of worldwide expansion
  • Project management of new facility preparations for production. Including permits, tenant improvements, equipment ordering and logistics, building contractors and all other tasks related to gaining a certificate of occupancy and startup of new facility

What You Bring

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 10-15 Years Experience
  • Prior management of large teams
  • Detailed knowledge of plant and manufacturing operations
  • Strong Knowledge of Industrial Safety Standards and requirements
  • Skilled problem-solver
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in related fields of Engineering or Manufacturing
  • Green or Black belt certification
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic startup
  • Great attitude and team player!

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with crumb rubber and binder, or tire processing
  • Experience with compression molding manufacturing or concrete batch plants
  • Experience in Project Management of building and startup of a production facility
