Who You Are

The CPAP Clinic Technologists with Rebis Health provide care and comfort to patients with various sleep disorders. Our technologists also provide patient education and intervention to help patients use PAP devices successfully. This includes setup, follow-up, and compliance support. Our technologists also frequently interact with patients to assess levels of comfort and monitor reported issues. The role is essential to helping patients breathe, sleep, and live better, often with lasting results.

What You'll Do

  • Educates patients on PAP device usage, including mask fitting and equipment operation.
  • Troubleshoots PAP therapy concerns using evidence-based practices.
  • Configures and adjusts PAP devices according to clinical standards.
  • Accurately documents all patient interactions in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Triages and escalates patient concerns as appropriate.
  • Maintains DME inventory, sanitizes equipment, and manages fitting supplies.
  • Supports remote patient monitoring via the Rebis Health platform.
  • Provides care for patients of all ages, following physician orders.
  • Assists in patient evaluation, follow-up care, and study data.
  • Dispenses and educates patients on durable medical equipment (DME).
  • Provides education for patients and caregivers
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

  • RPSGT, RST or RRT/SDS Certification.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sleep Technologist.
  • Strong knowledge of PAP devices, polysomnography, oximeters, and screening tools.
  • Experience with patients aged 12 and up.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and EHR systems.
  • Demonstrates adaptability and teamwork.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and adaptability.
  • Committed to patient-centered, professional care.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Sleep Technologist.
  • Previous experience with Durable Medical Equipment (DME).
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex clinical issues independently.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient.

While performing the duties and responsibilities of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, bend at the waist, reach above shoulders, use hands and communicate clearly.  Occasionally, employees may need to stoop or kneel and may need to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance.  The work environment includes exposure to cleaning agents and occasional contact with infectious agents.
