This role is based within James Vincent Froup, a specialized accounting and advisory firm that is now part of Numera. We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to lead and contribute to critical accounting operations, support client engagements, and help strengthen internal financial controls.

*The position is remote, with preference for candidates based in Arizona*

• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial

• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and

• 6+ years proven experience as a financial controller, accounting supervisor, or senior accountant.
• US CPA or relevant certification (e.g., CMA) (Required)
• Governmental accounting or Audit: 2 years (Required)
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). (Required)
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end process close.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like QuickBooks and com.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail. 
• Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills. 
• BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field. (Required)

Salary range: $100k-150k/ year (inclusive of a 10% performance bonus)
