Salus Scientific was established by healthcare providers with the aim of serving their peers. The initial GLiFT system was conceived and utilized by a founding physician to alleviate pain from an accident, and he continued to use it to enhance longevity in his practice. The concept originated in 2017.

 

Our team possesses over 100 years of combined experience in healthcare services, led by three founders and supported by 10 full-time employees and consultants with extensive expertise in engineering, quality, operations, finance, and medical technology commercialization.

Who You Are

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate, maintain, and monitor production equipment to ensure high-quality output and efficient operations. With a strong focus on safety, precision, and teamwork, the Machine Operator will play a critical role in meeting production goals in a fast-paced, small-team environment.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor CNC routers, laser cutting machines, and hydraulic presses to produce high-quality parts in accordance with production standards.
  • Set up equipment based on job specifications, including configuring CNC programs, adjusting laser settings.
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on CNC routers, laser cutting machines, and hydraulic presses to ensure functionality and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues with equipment and report complex mechanical problems to supervisors or maintenance teams.
  • Load, unload, and feed raw materials into machines while verifying material quality and specifications.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including output quantities, quality checks, and any equipment malfunctions or downtime.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
  • Assist in training new operators and contribute to continuous process improvements.

What You Bring

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent (required).
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating manufacturing machinery (preferred; specific machine types, e.g. CNC equipment, presses, laser cutting machines.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills with the ability to read technical manuals and blueprints.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Basic computer skills for recording production data (preferred).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Standard hours 40 hours per week, with potential for overtime during peak production periods.
