Who You Are

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional with 3-5 years of experience in the title industry to join our team as a Title Recording Specialist. This role plays an essential part in the title process by ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across title closing and recording functions.

 

What You'll Do

  • Review and prepare documents for recording and related transfer documents, ensuring all required signatures and details are accurate.
  • Submit documents to local and state government offices or online platforms for recording.
  • Track and verify recorded documents, ensuring timely delivery to clients or lenders.
  • Maintain detailed records of recorded documents and provide status updates to relevant parties.
  • Manage emails and phone calls from clients, local and state offices, and colleagues, ensuring prompt and professional communication.

What You Bring

  • 3-5 years of experience in the title industry or a related field.
  • Familiarity with title commitments, policies, closing procedures, or document recording.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for interacting with team members, clients, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with title or recording software is preferred. Familiarity with TrackerPro software is a plus.
  • The ideal candidate should be based in the NYC/Long Island area

What We Offer

Salary Range: $55,000-$75,000
