We are building a modern Enterprise Data Platform that integrates large-scale data pipelines, transactional workflows, analytics, and user-facing tools. This platform serves as the backbone for delivering data-driven insights across the organization and supports key operational and business functions. It combines a .NET backend, modern Angular front end, and dual-database architecture using MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL.

Who You Are

As the Senior Technical Manager, you will lead the engineering delivery of the platform. Your responsibilities span technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, resource management, and process optimization. You will work closely with business stakeholders and the support team to ensure deliverables are prioritized, resourced, and executed with excellence. This is a remote-first leadership role, offering flexibility while expecting strong ownership, clear communication, and results-driven execution.

What You'll Do

Technical Leadership

  • Drive end-to-end technical execution across .NET C#, Angular, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL Server. -
  • Ensure robust architecture, quality design, and scalable development practices.
  • Establish coding standards, development workflows, and peer review guidelines.

 

Cross-Team Coordination

  • Act as the bridge between business, support, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on priorities and timelines.
  • Translate functional requirements into detailed technical tasks and milestones.
  • Facilitate effective communication and transparency across all stakeholders.

 

Delivery & People Management

  • Define clear goals, KPIs, and expectations for the engineering team.
  • Manage team capacity and allocate resources efficiently to meet business goals.
  • Lead agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) to optimize velocity.

 

Process Optimization

  • Design and implement repeatable, scalable engineering processes.
  • Introduce best practices for project tracking, QA automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Continuously assess and improve team workflows, tooling, and feedback loops.

What You Bring

Experience

  • 8+ years in software engineering, with 3+ years in a leadership or technical management role.
  • Proven track record managing data-centric platforms or products at scale.
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments with tight delivery deadlines.

Technical Skills

*Strong working knowledge of:

  • Backend: .NET C# (Web APIs, microservices)
  • Frontend: Angular (v12+ preferred)
  • Databases: MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL
  • Proficient in Git-based workflows, agile tools (e.g., Jira), and deployment automation.

 

Preferred Qualities

  • Strong analytical mindset with a bias for action.
  • Strong leadership and ability to mentor technical talent.
  • Skilled at balancing long-term architecture with short-term delivery.
  • Experience in healthcare, financial services, or other regulated industries is a plus.
