Test Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on, motivated Test Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a startup environment, enjoys building and maintaining testing processes, and is passionate about clean energy innovation. The Test Engineer will play a key role in validating the performance and reliability of Yotta Energy’s products.

• Learn the operation and design of The Yotta Block and related systems.
• Perform manual bench testing using SAS, power supplies, DC loads, and inverters.
• Execute automated testing using LabVIEW and Python scripts.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and document testing results clearly and effectively.
• Propose and develop new test methods to expand performance coverage.
• Build, maintain, and upgrade test fixtures.
• Operate temperature chambers for environmental testing.
• Contribute to lab standards, including 5S methodology and process improvements.
• Perform other duties assigned to support team and organizational success.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related technical field.
• Hands-on experience with electrical/electronic testing and standard lab instruments.
• Proficiency in documenting and analyzing test data.
• Experience with Python, LabVIEW, or other scripting/programming tools.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

 Physical Capability To:

• Lift, move, push, and pull 30–50 lbs regularly; occasionally over 50 lbs with assistance.
• Kneel, squat, climb, and work at varying heights.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Work outdoors in both hot and cold conditions.
