Integrated Scale Systems is a well established and expanding company specializing in the sales and service of industrial weighing equipment. It also serves as the hardware service support arm of Valdata Systems, a leader in chemical management software systems.

Who You Are

Integrated Scale Systems, a supplier of industrial weighing equipment and instrumentation, is currently seeking to hire a Field Service Technician with excellent troubleshooting skills.

What You'll Do

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial weighing equipment.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Provide on-site technical support and assistance to customers across multiple locations.
  • Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and drawings related to industrial weighing equipment.
  • Utilize specialized tools and equipment to perform tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and support to a diverse clientele.
  • Maintain a high level of technical proficiency through ongoing training and development.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

What You Bring

  • be able to lift 50-60 pounds numerous times a day.
  • be able to read and interpret various manuals or drawings for industrial weighing equipment. (Manufacturers' specs)
  • have PC/Windows experience (wireless/wired networking knowledge a plus).
  • be able to provide excellent customer service to a wide variety of customers in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing industries, to name a few.
  • maintain a high level of technical proficiency.
  • be able to park a company vehicle in a secure location.
  • have a valid Driver’s License
  • have reliable travel to shop during the training period before being issued a company vehicle.
  • be able to travel throughout all of New Jersey, New York (Hudson Valley/5 Boroughs), Connecticut, and Eastern Pennsylvania.
  • be able to work overtime.
  • be able to work unsupervised to accomplish a day's work.

Schedule: Standard hours of operation are from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Overtime may be required based on business needs.
