Who You Are

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Global Logistics Director to manage and optimize our global logistics operations. This role is responsible for overseeing global transportation, warehousing coordination, and ensuring full compliance with U.S. and international import and export regulations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in export control laws, documentation, and logistics operations, with a strong ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment. 

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement global logistics strategies aligned with business objectives. 
  • Manage international and domestic transportation (air, ocean, ground), ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. 
  • Lead all aspects of export compliance, including: 
    •   - Classifying products under the appropriate HTS codes and ECCNs. 
    •   - Determining license requirements under EAR and ITAR regulations. 
    •   - Preparing and reviewing commercial invoices, packing lists, and export declarations (AES filings). 
    •   - Maintaining accurate export records and audit trails in accordance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) requirements. 
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure proper documentation and shipment readiness. 
  • Monitor and analyze logistics KPIs to drive continuous improvement and cost savings. 
  • Stay current on global trade regulations and proactively adjust processes to maintain compliance. 
  • Train internal staff on export compliance procedures and best practices. 

What You Bring

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Logistics, or a related field. 
  • 7+ years of experience in global logistics or international trade, with 3+ years in a leadership role. 
  • Extensive knowledge of U.S. export regulations,. 
  • Demonstrated experience managing export documentation, customs clearance, and compliance audits. 
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. 
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, or equipment resale industries. 
  • Certification in Export Compliance
