Who You Are

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled GIS Technician to support our engineering/surveying Teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of our GIS databases, organizing field data collection efforts, generating maps and reports, and performing spatial analysis. Strong experience with Esri ArcGIS software is required, and experience with GPS data collection and analysis is preferred. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential. Position is fulltime, but candidates seeking part-time will be considered as well.

 

 

 

What You'll Do

• Data Management: Collecting, editing and managing spatial data within GIS databases
• Map Creation: Producing high-quality maps, both digital and potentially printed, for various purposes
• GPS Data Collection and Analysis: Organizing field data collection with GPS enabled devices and analyzing data
• Data Quality Control: Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of GIS data

 

What You Bring

 

  • • Minimum of 2 years of experience
    • GIS Software Skills: (ESRI ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online)
    • GPS Data Collection and Analysis: Collecting and analyzing GPS data
    • Experience developing basic apps for hand-held data collection (Survey 123, Field Map)
    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
    • Proficiency of AutoCAD a plus
