Cooking Equipment Technicians

Day & Nite All Service is a leading HVAC/Refrigeration service provider to businesses on the East Coast and Texas. We provide the highest level of service, trustworthiness, professionalism, and quality based on our people, standards, and practices.

We are currently seeking tier 3,4 & 5 Cooking Equipment Techs for the NYC area.

Tier 3 – Intermediate Cooking Equipment Technician

Overview: Responsible for servicing gas-powered kitchen equipment. Works on common mid-level units and receives CFESA Gas Certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair convection ovens, fryers, griddles, and tilt skillets
• Service food processors, coffee machines, and related equipment
• Operate safely under CFESA Gas Certification guidelines
• Begin exposure to Tier 4-level steam and slicer equipment
• Log jobs and updates in Tech Anywhere
• Mentor Tier 1–2 technicians in the field

Tier 4 – Advanced Cooking Equipment Technician

Overview: Certified to service steam-powered equipment. Handles more complex units and begins taking lead roles on larger jobs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service and maintain steamers, boosters, and slicers
• Perform advanced PMs on steam-based kitchen equipment
• Operate under CFESA Steam Certification
• Guide junior techs and troubleshoot larger service calls
• Provide field documentation and customer support

Tier 5 – Expert Cooking Equipment Technician

Overview: Top-tier role for specialists in electric-powered commercial kitchen equipment. Works independently and trains others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and service combi ovens, pressure fryers, dishwashers, mixers, and rapid ovens
• Troubleshoot advanced electric control systems
• Work under CFESA Electric Certification guidelines
• Lead installations and commissioning of high-end kitchen systems
• Act as a field mentor and trainer
• Manage escalated service calls with confidence and professionalism
