Refrigeration Technicians

Day & Nite All Service is a leading HVAC/Refrigeration service provider to businesses on the East Coast and Texas. We provide the highest level of service, trustworthiness, professionalism, and quality based on our people, standards, and practices.

We are currently seeking tier 3,4 & 5 Refrigeration Techs for the NYC area.

Tier 3 – Intermediate Refrigeration Technician

Overview: Handles commercial refrigeration systems, large ice machines, and walk-in boxes. Works independently with mid-level service responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Replace evaporators and compressors in self-contained units
• Service and install countertop and large ice machines
• Troubleshoot electronic refrigeration components
• Service walk-in coolers and walk-in freezers
• Perform advanced plumbing and leak detection
• Service basic beer systems (e.g., self-contained powerpacks)
• Document work and parts using digital systems
• Mentor and assist Tier 1–2 technicians

Tier 4 – Advanced Refrigeration Technician

Overview: Specializes in high-level refrigeration systems including blast chillers and rack setups. Leads advanced service calls and installations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and service walk-in coolers, freezers, and blast chillers
• Troubleshoot refrigeration racks and electronic control systems
• Interpret complex wiring and piping schematics
• Oversee medium-to-large refrigeration projects
• Provide mentorship to mid-level techs
• Ensure high standards of safety and performance

Tier 5 – Expert Refrigeration Technician

Overview: An elite-level tech specializing in advanced rack systems, controls, and closed-loop cooling. Leads technical operations and field training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service advanced rack/glycol systems, KE2/Heatcraft controllers
• Diagnose water-cooled systems, chillers, and closed-loop setups
• Lead major installations involving walk-in boxes and complex refrigeration networks
• Provide hands-on training to developing technicians
• Support system upgrades and optimization strategies
• Act as the technical lead for field escalations
