Digital Press Operator

As a Digital Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our state-of-the-art Canon varioPrint iX inkjet and Ricoh C9500 presses. In addition to operating the digital press, the ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of the direct mail process. The best candidate for this position will be willing and able to perform multiple functions and be able to work independently in a print manufacturing environment. • Operate digital printing equipment.
• Set up and configure printing machines to ensure accurate color reproduction and print quality.
• Load and unload paper and other printing materials.
• Monitor print jobs to ensure they are running smoothly and adjust as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on digital presses to keep them in optimal condition.
• Collaborate with the design and prepress team to ensure files are print-ready.
• Inspect printed materials for quality and accuracy.
• Follow safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• ● Sort and pack finished pieces for direct mail distribution based on USPS requirements

• Previous experience as a Digital Press Operator or Bindery Operator within the print industry is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating digital printing equipment and associated software.
• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for color accuracy and print quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
• Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends when necessary to meet production deadlines.
