Supply Chain Coordinator

TBC designs, manufactures, and installs technical furniture systems. Our focus is building consoles, from single operator desks to sophisticated 24/7 control room furniture; we provide the products and the expertise to create ergonomically correct and organized work spaces that lead to greater efficiency, productivity and personal performance.

Manufacturer of custom technical furniture and accessories seeks a Supply Chain Coordinator to work 35-40 hours per week at our office located in Brentwood, NY. The role will support primarily our Purchasing and Logistics Departments but also coordinate across manufacturing and sales to ensure timely delivery of goods to meet production requirements.

• Monitor purchase orders through the procurement process including receiving
• Communicate with suppliers regarding lead time, order status, and delivery schedules.
• Assist to manage inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing carrying costs.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers and freight carriers.
• Collaborate with production, logistics, and sales teams to ensure an efficient supply chain.

• Familiarity with small parcel and freight shipments
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Background in logistics and/or purchasing in a manufacturing setting

Position Salary:

$24-$32/hour
