Who You Are

This position is responsible for driving strategies and efforts to increase patient volume. This role will harness various marketing channels, community relations, and partnerships to position each assigned facility as the preferred choice for medical care.

What You'll Do

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement marketing strategies that align with the facility's goals of increasing patient volume.
  • Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze patient inflow, community feedback, and marketing campaign effectiveness daily. Adjust strategies based on data-driven insights and trends.
  • Community Relations: Foster relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community leaders to promote the facility's services.
  • Content Creation: Oversee the development and distribution of marketing materials such as brochures, website content, and social media posts.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage the marketing budget, ensuring maximum ROI for marketing campaigns.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with facility leadership and medical staff to ensure the marketing efforts are in line with clinical excellence and patient care standards.
  • Media Relations: Handle media inquiries, develop press releases, and cultivate relationships with local media outlets to gain positive coverage.
  • Digital Marketing: Daily oversight of the facility's online presence, including website management, social media, and paid online advertising.
  • Events: Organize and participate in approved health fairs, workshops, and community events that promote the facility's services and encourage volunteerism within the organization. Lead staff appreciations.
  • Leadership: Display strong collaboration and organizational skills, ownership and accountability, initiative, teamwork mindset, data-centric, and results focused.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends in healthcare marketing, emergency medical care advancements, and regional demographics.
  • Patient Engagement: Monitor reviews on all forums daily and proactively provide feedback. Maintain Patient Satisfaction Performance Reports. Report on trends. Extrapolate additional data as required.
  • Ethical: Correctly represents company according to title, position, and job responsibilities. Does not commit company to contracts or agreements without approval.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all marketing activities comply with state and federal healthcare regulations.

What You Bring

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline required.  A minimum of five to seven years of progressively responsible experience in the health care industry. Thorough knowledge of the theory and practice of organizational management.  Excellent verbal and written communication are essential.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, the employee must be able to perform each essential function, as well as the physical and mental requirements satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and other characteristics required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Standing/Walking/Mobility: Must be able to stand intermittently and be capable of walking on hardwood and linoleum floors with concrete underpayments. Must be able to walk between various clinical areas and departments and navigate to all clinical sites, billing facilities, or other sites necessary to achieve company goals. This position requires manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination while performing normal office duties and responsibilities. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, crouch, kneel, and reach with hands and arms. Lift up to 50lbs and carry materials or products.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as contracts, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write policies and procedures, complete organization forms and correspondence, as needed. Ability to speak effectively and provide presentations.

REASONING ABILITY: Able to think and reason to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Fast-paced work environment. The work environment noise level is usually moderate.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Must be able to successfully manage multiple projects and clients. Ability to plan, oversee and complete projects and tasks as scheduled, display time management and problem-solving skills.
