We are seeking a creative and data-driven Email Marketing Specialist to join our growing team in the field of medical education, with a focus on psychiatry. This role is ideal for someone passionate about leveraging email to educate and engage mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and nurse practitioners.
As part of our marketing team, you will be responsible for crafting compelling email campaigns, optimizing list-building strategies, and using cold email outreach to expand our reach. Your ultimate goal will be to grow a qualified subscriber base and achieve strong engagement and open rates over the next 12 months.
Plan, create, and manage high-performing email campaigns targeting healthcare professionals.
Segment email lists based on user behavior, preferences, and demographics.
Use email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo) to automate and streamline campaigns.
Develop and implement lead generation strategies to increase email sign-ups.
Optimize email capture forms and website funnels to boost conversion rates.
Personalize content to enhance subscriber engagement and retention.
Conduct A/B testing and analyze key performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) to improve results.
Execute cold email outreach strategies to grow our list of psychiatrists and nurse practitioners.
Maintain high standards for email deliverability and compliance (e.g., CAN-SPAM).
Collaborate cross-functionally to continuously refine email marketing initiatives.
Proven experience in email marketing or digital marketing (healthcare or education industry a plus).
Proficiency with email automation platforms such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar.
Strong understanding of segmentation, personalization, and campaign analytics.
Experience with lead generation and website conversion optimization.
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
Self-starter with a data-driven mindset and attention to detail.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred—but relevant experience will also be considered.
Salary up to: $45k depending on experience
