Our NYC team is expanding, and we are seeking a Business Developemnt Representative intern that is eager to grow their career with a growing leader in the FinTech space. 

What You'll Do

  • Research target accounts, identify key decision-makers, and generate business
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-ups, cold calling, LinkedIn efforts, and email outreach.
  • Perform outbound prospecting calls financial institutions (banks and credit unions) and selects fintech’s.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements to schedule early-stage sales calls for senior sales colleagues.
  • Route qualified opportunities for the appropriate sales representatives for further engagement and closure.
  • Maintain and expand a strong database of prospects within the assigned US
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics within the financial services industry.

 

What You Bring

  • Demonstrate a willingness to embrace an understanding of lead generation methodologies and sales administration processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and resilient with a positive
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
  • Imminent or achieved bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
  • 6 months of experience in sales development, lead generation, or business development (SaaS/technology industry preferred)
  • Strong phone presence with experience in high-volume
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and self-driven
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving
  • Ability to work independently with minimal
