Payment Posting Department Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Payment Posting Department Supervisor to lead our payment posting team in a busy medical billing environment. This role is ideal for someone who excels in accuracy, compliance, and efficiency, while also providing strong leadership and mentorship to their team. The right candidate will have a deep understanding of medical billing processes, reconciliation, and posting procedures, with a focus on supporting the full revenue cycle.

• Manage daily operations of the payment posting department, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in posting patient and insurance payments.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff, providing ongoing support, feedback, and professional development.
• Audit payment posting processes regularly to ensure compliance with policies, payer requirements, and accounting standards.
• Oversee reconciliation of payments, adjustments, denials, and refunds, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Track and report team productivity and quality metrics, implementing improvements as needed.
• Act as the primary liaison for payment posting-related inquiries and escalations.
• Collaborate with billing, AR, and coding teams to resolve issues and ensure efficient revenue cycle performance.

• 5+ years of experience in payment posting or revenue cycle operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of medical billing processes, payment reconciliation, and denial management.
• Familiarity with Centricity and Go-Rev systems (highly preferred).
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
