Who You Are

The Managed Services Business Development Manager (BDM) is a pivotal force in the evolution of service-driven organizations, blending innovation with commercial acumen to unlock new avenues for growth. Rooted in a profound understanding of market dynamics and client ambitions, this role orchestrates the interplay of strategic outreach, solution design, and relationship management to advance the company's position in a rapidly changing business landscape. By anticipating client needs and emerging trends, the BDM not only elevates the managed services portfolio, but also crafts the narrative that connects customers to transformative solutions.

What You'll Do

Business Development & Opportunity Generation

  • Proactively research and develop new business opportunities within the managed services
  • Collaborate effectively with the sales team to nurture leads, build pipelines, and convert opportunities into successful engagements.
  • Establish and maintain enduring client relationships, assessing needs to present customized managed services solutions.

Marketing Material Development

  • Develop impactful marketing assets such as presentations, case studies, whitepapers, and brochures to promote managed services solutions.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure all collateral aligns with brand standards and appeals to designated audiences.

Solution Development

  • Conceptualize and design innovative managed services offerings tailored to client specifications, ensuring alignment with both business objectives and technical
  • Work in partnership with technical teams to validate that proposed solutions are practical, scalable, and economically viable.

Contact Creation & Negotiation

  • Draft, review, and finalize contracts for managed services engagements, ensuring precision, regulatory compliance, and consistency with client expectations.
  • Negotiate contractual terms with clients to achieve mutually advantageous

Sales Collaboration

  • Partner with the sales force to devise strategies and execute opportunities, offering insights and support throughout the deal lifecycle.
  • Participate in joint client meetings, presentations, and proposals to demonstrate the value proposition of managed services.

Market Research & Strategy

  • Maintain awareness of industry developments, competitor activities, and technological advancements to competitively position the company's managed services.
  • Formulate plans to enter new markets and expand existing accounts.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, IT, or an equivalent discipline.
  • Minimum three years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within managed services or IT solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales objectives and developing client parnterships.
  • Advanced skills in marketing content creation, solution architecture, and contract perparation.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation proficiencies. 
  • Talent for cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, and technical departments.
  • Familiarity with managed services, IT infrastructure, or cloud solutions is desirable.

What We Offer

Salary range: $80k-$120k depending on experience, with 1% commission of total contact value with a 10k bonus for exeeding quota
