Who You Are

GeoMark Research is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lab Technician I to join our growing TruSat Lab team. This is a hands-on, entry-level laboratory role focused on sample preparation and support for petrophysical and geochemical analyses. You'll play a key part in preparing rock and cuttings samples for elemental analysis while helping to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient lab environment.

What You'll Do

· Clean, prep, and organize cuttings and rock samples for analytical workflows

· Crush and homogenize rock samples for pellet pressing (for XRF analysis)

· Operate and clean pellet press and associated equipment

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and lab tools

· Assist other lab technicians with routine daily tasks and project workflows

· Follow established safety and quality protocols for lab operations

· Communicate proactively with the TruSat Lab team to support fast-paced project timelines

What You Bring

· No prior experience required – this is an entry-level position

· Previous lab or geoscience experience is a plus but not necessary

· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures

· Willingness to perform repetitive or routine tasks with consistency

· Reliable, collaborative, and willing to learn new skills

· Physically able to handle rock samples, equipment, and light lifting
