Who You Are

Looking for an independent person who has experience in the service and repair of equipment.

 

Diagnosis, service, repair, maintenance and installation of a variety of surgical microscopes following manufacturer guidelines while utilizing superior communication skills during service of end user’s equipment. Provide sales support for service contracts and new customer leads.

What You'll Do

    • Responds independently to assigned customer service calls to diagnose, service, repair, maintain and/or install surgical microscopes.
    • Determines parts, supplies or tools needed to complete service calls.
    • Supplies excellent level of customer service using clear and concise communication skills.
    • Communicates any special problems to Sales team.
    • Ensures service commitments are met within outlined response time.
    • Coordinates delivery of new and evaluation equipment; set up and breakdown of the surgical microscopes.
    • Advises end user on the use and basic maintenance of equipment.
    • Timely completion of job data including service fulfillment forms, inventory, expense reports and equipment related items.
    • Management of inventory; ensuring proper parts are ordered and unused parts are returned.
    • Ensures proper vehicle maintenance guidelines and safe driving habits are followed.
    • Performs all other duties as assigned by management

What You Bring

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent. Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with spotless driving record is required.
  • Technical training in the areas of Surgical Equipment, preferred.
  • Technical training in the areas of Autoclaves, Anesthesia, Monitors, Devices, Medical Gas and Surgical Equipment, preferred.
  • Four (4) years’ experience as a Field Service Technician in medical environment, preferred.
  • Knowledge and utilization of testing devices and tools required for the adjustment, calibration and repair of equipment.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able up to lift 100lbs.
  • Must have the ability to lift and load equipment into vehicle and unload at repair or installation site.
  • Electrical, schematic reading, mechanical or carpentry skills, preferred.
  • Must have reliable transportation needed to carry supplies and visit customer locations across assigned territory.

What We Offer

Position Salary Pay :

$80k/hour

California passed a Pay Transparency Law which requires Californiabased hiring to include a compensation range on each job posting. This compensation range is presented in good faith for candidates that are hired in these roles will be presented a salary within the range stated on the job posting
