Who You Are

This role supports manufacturing operations by maintaining equipment uptime and assisting with small fabrication, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate is mechanically skilled, tech-oriented, and confident using shop tools such as rotary saws, power drills, and basic fabrication equipment. Full in-house training will be provided on all custom and proprietary manufacturing systems.

What You'll Do

Equipment Troubleshooting & Technical Support

  • Respond immediately to machine stoppages, jams, or alarms on automated production lines.
  • Diagnose and repair common mechanical, pneumatic, or electrical issues.
  • Perform minor resets, alignments, and calibrations on cutting, adhesive, and assembly systems.
  • Inspect and replace belts, sensors, fittings, or pneumatic lines as required.
  • Maintain preventive maintenance logs and communicate recurring issues to Engineering.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
  • Fabrication & Shop Support
  • Operate rotary saws, power drills, grinders, and other basic tools for light fabrication work.
  • Build and modify simple fixtures, guards, or jigs as directed by Engineering.
  • Assist in setting up, aligning, or relocating production machinery as needed.
  • Maintain clean and organized workstations and ensure tool accountability.
  • Follow all PPE and safety requirements when using shop equipment.

Training & Support

Comprehensive in-house training provided for all proprietary equipment, including machine operation and reset procedures, basic pneumatic and electrical diagnostics, preventive maintenance schedules, and safety/Lockout Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

What You Bring

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on experience with power tools such as rotary saws, drills, and grinders.
  • Technically curious and enjoy diagnosing and fixing machinery.
  • Experience with basic mechanical and electrical repair preferred.
  • Forklift experience or certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Reliable, adaptable, and safety conscious.
  • Valid driver's license, required.

What We Offer

Position Salary:

$18-$20/ hour

Effective 06/1/2025 NJ passed a Pay Transparency Law which requires NJ based hiring to include a compensation range on each job posting. This compensation range is presented in good faith for candidates that are hired in these roles will be presented a salary within the range stated on the job posting
