  • Escalate any issues or delays to management before deadlines are missed
  • Proactively communicate changes and updates to relevant departments and leadership
  • Maintain accurate, real-time documentation of every payer interaction (date of contact, representative name, reference number if provided, summary of discussion/request, next steps required; save related emails as proof if no reference number is given)
  • Make daily updates to credentialing files and payer-specific spreadsheets following each action taken
  • Ensure contract details and status updates are accurately reflected in designated spreadsheets
  • Support CAQH re-attestations, obtain payer contracts (including fee schedules), and verify provider loading
  • Assist with un-credentialing of departing providers
  • Collect and review preliminary credentialing packets from new clinicians (malpractice insurance, NPI, licenses, education, etc.)

What You Bring

  • 2–4 years of experience in credentialing, insurance verification, payer enrollment, or medical billing
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficiency with online payer portals (e.g., Availity, CAQH) and Excel spreadsheets
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and escalate appropriately
  • Experience in mental health, psychology, or behavioral health preferred but not required
  • High school diploma required; relevant certification (e.g., CPCS, CPMSM) a plus

What We Offer

  • Full-time (40 hours/week) – flexible scheduling available
  • Hourly rate: $26–$31 per hour (based on New York/Long Island market rates for experienced credentialing coordinators)
  • A full-time position is eligible for the following benefits: a comprehensive range of medical benefits (which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance), a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
  • Significant opportunity for growth, advancement, and impact as the company continues to expand rapidly
