Who You Are

The Logistics and Operations Manager will join the New York City team. You will be responsible for overseeing and improving the logistics, shipping, and warehousing operations within the company. This includes managing day-to-day logistics activities, coordinating shipments, and collaborating with third-party service providers. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, data-driven, and experienced in the apparel or manufacturing sector.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee warehouse, packing and shipping personnel.
  • Implement policy changes for shipping and warehouse services.
  • Handle shipping logistics including preparing Bill of Ladings, coordinating with shippers, and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Manage small package, LTL & TL shipments. Scheduling pre-routing delivery for chain store customers.
  • Manage plant to plant transfers and transportation between multiple manufacturing locations.
  • Prepare and analyze department KPIs weekly.
  • Develop and implement department SOPs.
  • Ensure all the administrative and reporting requirements are in compliance with regulations and meet in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and manage EDI and API transmissions with 3PL warehouses.
  • Item set ups in company software as well as in customers portals.

What You Bring

  • 4+ years of experience in logistics and operations. (required)
  • Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or similar role in the apparel or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation planning, warehouse management, and inventory control systems.
  • Experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PL) is essential.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for process improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level or higher).

What We Offer

Salary Range: $80k- $100k
