Who You Are

The TAG Education Collaborative (TAG-Ed) is seeking a candidate with marketing and communications experience to drive outreach and engagement. The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will design digital and collateral material, create content, design and disseminate press releases, manage the TAG-Ed website, implement social media campaigns, and support dedicated events. The position reports to the TAG-Ed Executive Director.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate closely with senior staff to draft and manage the annual communications plan for small non-profit organizations.
  • Create content and manage TAG-Ed social media presence.
  • Manage the TAG-Ed website, including updating content, images, partners, etc. in a timely and efficient manner; manage relationship with website service provider.
  • Write and design TAG-Ed’s monthly e-newsletter.
  • Write forewords for all TAG-Ed’s magazine publications.
  • Maintain contact lists for e-communications.
  • Spearhead digital and print marketing campaigns for major awareness campaigns.
  • Create all marketing collateral, including flyers and brochures, for all TAG-Ed programs.
  • Work directly with all Program Managers to understand their collateral needs.
  • Support overall programmatic operations within the organization as needed.

What You Bring

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with a diverse audience, from K-12 students to business executives.
  • Strong time management, project management, and organizational skills
  • Experience with social media content writing and strategy, particularly on LinkedIn.
  • Experience with digital content strategy, including e-communications and digital awareness campaigns.
  • Knowledge of website strategy and design. Experience with WordPress required (Google Analytics is a plus).
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop
  • Ability to contribute to team projects with a “whatever it takes” attitude and approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to be an initiative-taker, and support a functionally organized, technically oriented environment.
  • Proven ability and willingness to learn new things quickly.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required
