Who You Are

The entry level Bond Technician role is responsible for performing all necessary work to maintain, build, and inspect bonded product in accordance with company and customer directives.

 

This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines U.S. persons as U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents (i.e., Green Card holders), and some refugees and asylees.

 

A new career awaits! On-the-job training available. Experience in manufacturing is a plus.

What You'll Do

Job Duties:

  • Perform routine operations.
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and read travelers and SOPs (standard operating procedures).
  • Must have ability to perform alignment/assembly using jig, templates, and fixtures.
  • The individual in this position will frequently move about the machine line to operate various manufacturing equipment.
  • Visually inspect product and segregate non-conforming material.

What You Bring

Key Accountabilities:

  • Operate and maintain machinery, ensure production standards are met, finalize products and prepare them for shipping.
  • Must be flexible to work overtime, weekends or rotate to an alternate shift when required.
  • Must be detail oriented & perform quality work with accuracy.

Education and Qualification:

  • High School Diploma or GED from an Accredited Institution
  • Must be able to use close tolerance measuring tools (i.e., scales, micrometers, calipers, depth gages, etc.).
  • Strong teamwork and communications skills are a must.

Mathematical Skills:

  • Aptitude for mathematics, including ability to read blueprints, read/work from drawings.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
  • Candidate must meet vision and/or color perception requirements.
