Who You Are

We are seeking a Certified Litigation Paralegal to join our firm and assist our attorneys in all phases of litigation, including case management, litigation support, document preparation, filings, and discovery. The ideal candidate is a certified paralegal with 3+ years of experience in litigation, defense-side practice, and insurance claims. This role is based in our New York office on a hybrid schedule, requiring in-office days every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

  • Preparing pleadings
  • Document review
  • Legal research
  • Calendaring
  • Case tracking, managing, and organizing
  • Deposition summarizing
  • Medical record request and summarizing
  • Medicare querying and reporting
  • Court filing - ECF NY State and Federal; NJ a plus
  • Updating databases with case details

What You Bring

Qualifications / Requirements of the Senior Litigation Paralegal:

  • Paralegal Certificate and bachelor’s degree
  • 3 or more years paralegal experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as LexisNexis
  • Knowledge of NY/NJ procedural rules
  • Detail-orientated
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Legal calendaring experience
  • Ability to work independently, but also be a team player

What We Offer

Salary range: $65k-$80k, commensurate with experience
