Who You Are

At Mainetti, we are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager with strong hands-on technical expertise and a passion for leveraging modern maintenance technologies to drive equipment reliability and operational excellence. This role will lead all maintenance operations, utilizing data-driven decision making, preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, and continuous improvement methodologies to maximize uptime and productivity. The ideal candidate is a strong leader and problem solver who can develop high-performing teams, effectively collaborate across departments, and implement innovative solutions that improve equipment performance, safety, and business results.

What You'll Do

  • Lead all maintenance operations for production equipment, facility systems, utilities, and material handling assets while ensuring safe and reliable plant performance.
  • Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and improve asset life.
  • Utilize maintenance KPIs, production data, and reliability metrics to drive data-based decision making and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to resolve equipment failures and eliminate recurring issues.
  • Manage maintenance planning, work order execution, and documentation through the maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Drive equipment performance improvements through capital projects, automation initiatives, equipment upgrades, and new installations.
  • Partner with Production, Quality, and Operations teams to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize operational disruptions.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance personnel, fostering a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements while promoting best practices in maintenance and reliability.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, contractors, and continuous improvement programs to enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall business performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including Lockout/Tagout procedures, electrical safety standards, and environmental requirements.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

What You Bring

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience required.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience required.
  • An equivalent combination of education and work-related experience may be acceptable.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated manufacturing systems.
  • Experience developing and managing preventative maintenance programs.
  • Proven success improving equipment reliability and reducing unplanned downtime.
  • Experience utilizing systems for work order management, asset tracking, and maintenance planning.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
  • Understanding of reliability engineering principles and maintenance best practices.
  • Experience with PLC-controlled equipment, HMIs, conveyors, packaging equipment, and related manufacturing systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to effectively lead teams, manage priorities, and communicate across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Certifications

  • Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
  • OSHA Safety Training Certification
